Another blue sky painting test

Replacing stormy clouds is always a challenge. Trying new photoshop technique by using a double gradient mask by selecting the highlight areas. Still looks surreal, continue testing. Click photo for full screen qtvr. This Vancouver condo is for sale, click [here] for Virtual Tour. Shot with Nikon Coolpix 8400.

Jumping Dog

I shot this real quick, originally as a sky painting test, but my dog is such a spaz that the pan turned out quite nice. Ill have to redo this shot in nice light soon. Click photo to launch QTVR.

Increase the dynamic range of your photographs..FREE

Found Photomatix free plugin at www.hdrsoft.com It allows you to Merge differently exposed photos into one image with details in both highlights and shadows. Maybe I should splurge on the pro version. Photo made from 2 images, In the original images there was no detail in the window, nor the fireplace. Click photo to go to download page.

North Vancouver Waterfront

I used to live around the corner from here, and did'nt realize how much I missed the view. Was great to see Vancouver not get rained on, although it is still slightly soggy:) Click photo for QTVR.

Vancouver Skate Park Virtual Tour

Peleng Lens test. Downtown Vancouver recieved a new skateboard street park, right next to the junkies and crack heads. If the park gets covered in graffiti or garbage the city will remove it. It is up to the skate boarders to police the area. The street park is modular and removable and has remained clean all year. It is now actually safe to walk to Science world from Chinatown.

SeeVirtual360 goes to Langara College

Andrew Bennett from seevirtual360.com invited me to come down to Langara Friday night, I was surprised to see so many photo students turn up at night for a photo Talk. The pop and chips was a nice touch, a little sugar rush is great for sitting in the dark looking at photos :P
Click the photo to launch a Cylindrical Qtvr I made with an 8400 and panorama factory using 12 shots. Andrew gave a great talk, informal lectures are always my favorite and Andrews Love of Photography and Virtual Imaging was informative and fun.
