I want a helicopter!

Man I have to start saving my pennies for a remote controlled helicopter to do some panorama work. Click photo to view this cool site of still shots taken from a remote. I have been dreaming of helium balloons but the helicopter would be much fun!

Renovation Project

Went and tested my new tripod config with the peleng 8mm and the D70. My buddy is under taking quite the reno Job. Shot some pans as before shots for Duff to compare them with the finished project. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]

Google maps

Had Insomnia or too much pop but played with the google maps API tonight. So far my new map is horribly inaccurate but ill fix that tomorrow, I made faster progress than I initially thought. Just a test at the moment but a great project to display VR Tours via Google Maps.

Nadir and Zenith Nodal test for the Nikon 10.5

Shot the smallest room to enhance nodal errors.By shooting the cylindrical with the centre column raised slightly, when it comes time to shoot the Zenith, loosen camera and rotate 90 degrees, drop the centre column down, loosen lower bar on the 302plus/303plus and slide to home position, shoot nadir and voila. 6 shots this time, trying new ways to handle people in crowds, thanks to Damien for adding the motion element to the pan test. Ana tired him out at the park before, which was a pity cause he was kinda lazy for his photo test.Click photo for QTVR.

Went to Ross Ladell's Flash Meeting today. Flash in Van is now Vancouver’s Official Flash User Group . He is looking forward to being able to give away door prizes and schwag- as well as getting some serious Flash on.
